Lilian Kuo – Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Shea Properties
Ms. Kuo focuses on Shea Properties’ long-term strategic goals, which include maximizing the performance of the assets, diversifying portfolio risk, and enhancing operational efficiencies. Ms. Kuo previously worked at Broadreach Capital Partners, which includes office, retail, and research & development properties. In that role, she managed more than 3 million square feet of office, retail and industrial buildings valued at over $1 billion.
Ms. Kuo received a bachelor’s degree in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.
Brian Baker- Director at CIBC
As a Director with CIBC, Mr. Baker is responsible for originating, underwriting, and overseeing the loan process for CMBS and balance sheet transactions on the West Coast.
Previous to joining CIBC, Mr. Baker worked in the real estate capital markets division of both a commercial bank and an investment bank, spent time with the FDIC in corporate strategic planning and asset management roles, and worked as a CMBS bond analyst at Fitch. Mr. Baker has originated and underwritten over 150 loans ranging in size from $2 million to $75 million and worked out over $100 million in distressed assets since 2004.
